Tomorrow is the Hina Matsuri Festival, or Girls' Day, of Japan! Originating from a ritual of purification, it has since turned into a very special day for girls to be honored and celebrated in their families.
Got this image from Rei_Kuassari's blog. It's really cute, and it shows the most ornate of the decorations with all fifteen dolls, completing the set. You have the Emperor and the Empress, the Ladies of the Court, the Court Musicians, the Ministers, and the Footmen.
I hope you all get to celebrate Girls' Day tomorrow, wherever you are!
