You've heard the line "Don't judge a book by its cover" probably a number of times. In this case, we'll modify it a little and say don't judge a person by her name.:D Don't let the monicker "darkntwisty" fool you, because her blog is anything but dark.

"The Curious Case of the Missing Strawberry" features a lot of cute and interesting stuff in her blog. From clothes to TV shows to quizzes to songs to movies to (what else?) strawberries, darkntwisty never seems to be running out of ideas of things to feature in her blogs.

She even uses her own, personalized watermark, moods, and graphics to claim that blog as her own. You go, girl!

Focus on: Little Twin Stars Tetris

Let's go retro!

For those who grew up in the 90s (or for those who want to experience it), relive the day of the brick game by playing Little Twin Stars Tetris at SanrioTown!

The game works the same way as the old Tetris games of the not-so-distant past, but with cuter graphics. Differently-shaped pieces will fall one by one from the top of the screen (from Lala, to be exact), and the player has to stack these in whatever way s/he sees fit (and watch Kiki follow the piece being controlled :P). Whenever a row becomes completely filled, it will disappear and points will be awarded on how many tiles have been removed.

Not only are the pieces differently shaped, they're also made up of different fun things, including candies, stars, hearts, and puffs of clouds. Better resist keeping all of these though, or else you'll lose the game!

Frooliemew is a girl kitten that is so tiny that she fits right in the palm of your hand. She is very light, similar to a little pink, fluffy cloud. Aside from her pretty fur, she also has big round eyes any curly lashes. She lives with her renowned international supermodel owner in a lovely the Seine river in Paris. She adores her owner and takes after her - Mew just loves to dress up! She even pretends to be a model herself as she playfully prances on the catwalk, of course, wearing her favorite polka-dot bow. She loves blueberry scones straight from the oven and royal milk tea - with lots of honey, please!

Blog Tutorial: Advanced: Getting More Traffic on Your Blogs

Sanrio Town's Ishida posted a new entry on how to add more traffic to your blog.

What does traffic mean in the blogging world? Like the flow of cars on the streets where that word is most used to call this phenomenon, it describes the flow of activity going on in your blog, aside from the ones that come from you (like putting up entries). This includes comments from other SanrioTown members and trackbacks (your entries being quoted in other blogs). This means you'll have more friends, even on the online world. We're sure a lot of you are interested in this.^_^

Is there anyone here who misses the old Sanrio characters who aren't seen that much anymore? Nyago_cat seems to think so, and that's why this SanrioTown user made a video that's all about her namesake, Nemukko Nyago!

Simply titled "Nyago", this video is all about Sanrio's dozing tabby cat. It provides information about who this character is to introduce those who aren't really familiar with this feline. Along with the interesting trivia are cute images of Nyago, doing what he loves most in the world: sleeping!

Pet lovers and those who adore kawaii stuff will surely adore this week's featured blog!

Saber's Ataraxia is filled with cute animal entries, usually of pets owned by her or her friends. From adorable doggies to cuddly cats, pet owners and animal lovers can't help but go, "Aaawww...." when they see the photos. Funny captions (written in |337 - a form of Internet slang) go with the images to add to the already-cutesy feel of the blog. That's not all though: Saber also invites the SanrioTown members to submit their favorite photos of their pets to her so she can feature them, making them and their feline or canine best friends stars in their own rights in this blog.

Focus on: Badtz Maru Runner

Looks like Badtz-Maru is in trouble again, and this time with his pet crocodile, Pochi!

Keep the little guy from taking a bite out of our mischievous penguin by giving the exact same number that floating above him. Use the left or right arrow keys to find the right digit and then the down button to knock out Pochi.

Be careful, though, because the little crocodile brought a lot of reinforcements: a whole army of Pochis! Hana Maru also appears from time to time (everytime the eliminated numbers come up with a sum that's divisible by 10, to be exact). His appearance would be helping XO, though: if the number he's holding is matched, all the other Pochis on the screen will also be knocked off too.

There are 16 Pochis per level, the succession of appearances becoming increasingly faster as the game progresses. Getting Pochi will give you 10 marks, while Hana Maru makes you gain the same, plus 50 bonus points.

Our Blog All-Star today features one of the biggest animes to ever hit the world today. That's right, we're talking about the mischievous, albeit a little clumsy, fledgling ninja Naruto as well as his allies and enemies from the series (anime and manga) following his name.

The Ichiraku Ramen Bar, owned and maintained by zakura_2007, mostly features stuff regarding Naruto, or more specifically, Shippūden (translated as Hurricane), considered as the second season of the series. For those who are not familiar with the series but are interested in it, don't worry! Zakura_2007 features Naruto character and series information, including little-known trivia and even news on the series. There is even a cosplay post featuring some of big fans of the manga and anime. For those who aren't really interested in Naruto (or manga or anime for that matter), you'll aso be able to find something of interest in the blog, because the owner also puts in material on modern culture, including food and music.

For those who haven't been able to check out last week's entry on this, Sanrio will be releasing a 3D animated series featuring Hello Kitty and Friends. The English blog, which was released last week, contains sneak peeks, news and information, and stories about the upcoming series. Like its counterpart, the Chinese blog, entitled "The Adventure of Hello Kitty and Friends", gives a background on the animation.

Is there anyone here who can say that they love Hello Kitty to the brink of insanity (in a good way, of course)? Today's user-created video is a testament that one can go crazy for something that they really love.

"Hello Kitty Madness!!," a video made by j3zal_kity114, is all about everyone's favorite white feline. It's not just drawings of her that are featured in the video, though. Quirky items with her world famous logo or her actual face are also shown in some of the slides, including a wedding dress, a car, a mobile phone, and even fast food items.

As a special treat for everyone today, we'll be featuring two blogs instead of one! One is from you, our very special SanrioTown members, and the other is an official blog that we're sure you'll be very excited to read on.

We won't make you read a long introduction (we know you're pretty excited!), so let's get on with the features!



First on our list is ChezKoi's World. The owner, Cheza, is obviously a very colorful, cheerful person, and it shows in her blog! Her entries are literally filled with color, because she uses a lot of different hues and shades on her text. Don't think her entries are just about eye candy and nothing else, though. She's got fun stories that are very interesting and funny as well.

DreamStudio Video of the Week!

Ever asked yourself what love is? Is it a mysterious feeling that suddenly hits people when they least expect it? Is it something that's based on someone's looks or attitude? Is it something uncontrollable? Is it tangible?

Unfortunately, these things aren't answered in angelga77's "Love" video (sorry guys and girls!) What she does give, however, are other descriptions of love, reminiscent of some scenes from those romantic movies we (secretly) know and love. Different kinds of hearts accompany her verses, to add to the theme of her creation.

Focus on: Pochacco's Bank Game

Pochacco is now a big-time banker, and you are his valuable assistant!

The game is easy. All you have to do is to press the corresponding directional button for the kind of money your current customer is asking. The left, down, and right keys stand for the three kinds of money that you can give to your clients: gold coins and green and red bills.

The time remaining for you to distribute the money appears on the top portion of the game, as well as the number of customers you have to serve before your level goes up. Going up a level occurs automatically so you won't have to worry about a pop-up that will suddenly appear and make you lose your concentration.:D

Paying attention to what your customer is saying is the key of the game. Make sure that you've counted the right amount of money before you hand it to your customer, otherwise, you'll end up losing the game and make Pochacco one sad dog.

Make Blogging Easier with these Blogging Tools

Hi everyone! Ishida, one of the SanrioTown moderators, posted an entry on blogging tools, and we decided to share the information here to make it easier for all you SanrioTown bloggers. Check out his blog for more information on this.

Blogging tools are software that allows you to post into your blog without the need for logging in to them. These are especially useful if you juggle with multiple blogs and don’t have the time to login on all of them at the same time.

Below are the tools that Ishida recommended:

1. Flock (for Windows/Linux/Mac) - The social browser. Flock is actually Mozilla Firefox under the hood, but the difference is that it incorporates it with easy access tools such as logging in and managing Photobucket and Flickr. Its other major feature is the ability to access blog accounts online that enables the user to post without having to login to the actual account. Download Flock here.

2. Windows Live Writer (for Windows only) - Microsoft’s own entry and attempt to grab a share of the blogging market. It automatically integrates itself into Internet Explorer which is a nice feature. Originally intended for Windows Live Space users, they decided to make this available for many (if not all) blog accounts.One thing is that you have to install Microsoft’s proprietary “dotnet framework” files for it to work. You can download Windows Live Writer here and the necessary dotnet framework files here. You have to install the dotnet framework files first before you install Live Writer.

3. Qumana (for Windows/Mac) - A free blog editor that's based on simplicity and ease of use. It’s got the same full-featured functionality that Windows Live Writer has but is lighter on disk space. However, Qumana being JAVA-based, you may need to download the latest JAVA files for it to run. You can download Qumana here. If it requires you to download JAVA files for it to run, you can get the JAVA runtime environment here.

4. Scribefire plugin for Firefox (for Windows/Linux/Mac) - For those of you who don’t want to install anything, consider using Scribefire, a simple plugin that allows you to post to your blogs within Firefox. Its got the basic features but only has limited support to some blogs. You can download Scribefire here.

Dokidoki Burger: The unofficial leader of the friends. He always has a big smile and is everyone's favorite burger.

Dokidoki Shake: This vanilla shake is one of the four brothers, the others being strawberry, chocolate, and banana. He loves to play. Whenever he gets happy, he ends up spilling some of his contents.

Dokidoki Fries: This little girl with the cute, large eyes is everyone's idol! She's sometimes so enthusiastic that she calls out to just about everyone she knows.
