Tokyo, Japan’s Comiket (Comic Market) this August will be extra-special for the Hello Kitty fans out there, because it’s the event that will launch a new project of Sanrio that’s focused on everybody’s favorite white feline.
Called “Together with Hello Kitty”, the event is actually geared for moe otaku, and the corresponding products that will be released during the Comiket. To create this, Sanrio collaborated with artists such as okama, POP (Moetan), and Kuroboshi Kouhaku (Kino’s Journey). Some of the designs show young Hello Kitty fans showing their love for their favorite character by incorporating her design in their outfits.
